BULK WASTE
The city is now collecting bulk waste twice a year. Notice will be posted prior to pick up. AT ALL OTHER TIMES THE PREVIOUS BULK AREA BEHIND BUILDING 9 IS CLOSED. As an option, Teen Challenge in Branford has a removal service. They will pick up unwanted furniture (good condition) for FREE! If the items are unuseable, they will remove them but charge a fee. Please call Teen Challenge at 203-488-3124. You may also call Goodwill, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.

MATTRESSES, CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, CARPETING, SHEET ROCK AND ELECTRONICS ARE NEVER ACCEPTED AS BULK TRASH.

UNUSED SATELLITE DISHES
If you have an unused satellite dish on your deck, please remove so that we can keep the community neat and clean.
CHILDREN AT PLAY
Please remember to drive with caution for the safety of our young residents. Please remind your children not to play in the parking lot. There have been complaints about children playing in the parking lot, and jumping and climbing on mailboxes and electrical transformers. The new fence by the former Bulk area has been broken by children pushing on it from both sides. You are responsible for your child's actions and if your child destroys Mallard Brook property you will be fined and charged for all repairs. In addition, a police report will be filed.
Parents are to supervise their children at all times.

LEAKS
If you have a leaky pipe or toilet, please fix it immediately. If you are a tenant, please notify your landlord. Increased water bills have a direct impact on your condo fees.
INSURANCE
The Board of Directors strongly reccommends that all residents carry renter's insurance and unit owners carry condo insurance to protect you and your possessions adequately. Contact your insurance carrier for more information.
BOD MEETINGS
The Mallard Brook Board of Directors meets regularly at the office of Harborview Realty, 140 Captain Thomas Blvd., Suite 108 in West Haven. Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month except in July, August and December. Please call to verify that the meeting is on!
CARDBOARD BOXES
Did you know that cardboard boxes are recyclable? They should be broken/cut down and placed in the blue recycling box.
DRYER VENTS
Your are responsible for dryer vent cleaning in your unit. Vents should be cleaned annually.
LET IT SNOW

Please remember to move your car when it snows so that the plowers can clean your spot. If you don't move it, you will be responsible for clean up.
